A new NASA grant was awarded to the teams in SETI Institute, NASA Ames Research Center, University of Vienna and Umea University. This proposal focuses on characterisation of Mars’ unique low-hydrated Mg- and Fe-sulphates, and funded through NASA Solar System Workings (SSW) 2022 research call.

PI Dr. Yesilbas will take place as co-I in this project. We will perform the cryogenic-IR measurements of the low hydrated Fe- and Mg-sulphates and collaborate with awesome teams in SETI Institute, NASA Ames Research Center and University of Vienna.
