Congratulations to my brilliant PhD student Trung for his very prestigious The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KAW) Scholarship!
Trung will use this scholarship to work on his PhD project at SETI Institute and NASA next year.

Our ambitious and hardworking PhD student Trung received the travel grant from the Kempe Foundation. He will use this award to attend the 55th Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (LPSC), which will be held in the Woodlands (TX) on March 11-15, 2024.

PI Dr. Yesilbas was awarded with a prestigious The Carl Trygger grant for a project on “Uncovering the potential for organics identification on Mars: Spectral features of RNA building blocks using Cryogenic-IR and Raman spectroscopy in Martian-like environments” for 2 years.

Ann-Cathrin Krause succesfully completed her Master project!
Our dearest and brilliant MSc student, Ann-Cathrin, successfully completed her Master project. She studied complex sulphate-Cl salt mixture formation in Martian analogue Fe-rich nontronite clay minerals at Mars-like temperatures using Raman spectroscopy.
