PI Dr. Yesilbas was invited in the Astronomy Days and Night event that held on the Curiosum Centre at Umeå.

Our energetic PI was on the stage to describe how a planetary scientist search for life on Mars using Earth as a laboratory. How do the microfossils on Earth could help us to find life beyond Earth? What is the future for Mars research?

The Astronomy Day and Night is coordinated by the Swedish Astronomical Society. The Swedish Astronomical Society was founded in 1919, and is an association of practitioners and friends of astronomical science in Sweden. Popular Astronomy constitutes the association's membership magazine. Astronomical Youth is the society's youth association.
