Good Luck to our Kempe postdoctoral fellow, Lucas Demaret for his future endeavours!

We announce that Lucas Demaret, who has served as a Kempe Postdoctoral Fellow in the Yeşilbaş Lab for the past two years (Jan 2023 - Jan 2025), will be transitioning to postdoctoral position at University of Liege (Belgium). During his postdoc period, Lucas worked on the biosignature detection on ice focusing on the hydromagnesite rich Salda Lake samples from Türkiye. He also participated on the project about characterisation and low-temperature impact of lunar analogue rocks using Raman spectroscopy.

We wish him success in his future endeavors.

These projects were supported by Kempe Foundation (JCK22-0065) and Swedish Research Council Starting Grant (VR-2021-05859) that awarded to our PI Dr. Yesilbas.
